Painting

With most of the plastering done it was time to start painting. A water based primer is the first coat that goes on the inner walls. It is specially formulated to give better alkaline resistance and filling property. The application of primer ensures better quality and durability of finish coat.

After the Primer dries up two coats of Putty are applied. Next the surface is rubbed with emery paper to remove minor cracks and defects. The surface is now ready to take on color. Totally three layers of color coats are applied with the third and final layer done after a gap of six months.
